The dream of the fisherman's wife

Since my dream I have discovered that there are many images of tentacle erotica and it seems this genre originates from this erotic woodcut by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai that dates from the 1814. You will note that there are two octopi, the smaller of which wraps one of its tentacles around the woman's nipple and kisses her, whilst the larger Octopus sucks delightfully from between her legs. Hokusai is better known for his iconic and world famous print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which can be seen at the V&A museum in London.
